Real Big Avalanche Cycle - 2/9/08

This week we have been going threw a huge avalanche cycle in the Cascades. Snoqualmie, White and Stevens Pass have all been closed due to large slides cover the roads and we even had a house destroyed by a slide in the Kayler Glen development. The road cut on River Road slid last night covering the whole road with anywhere from 2 to 6 feet of debree. I spoke with Jim our naibor and said that in all the years his family has lived on Muletail Flats (something like 50 years) that slope hasn't slid.
