Solstice Tree's Ski Tour - 12/21/08

Mike, Pete, Drew, Adrienne, and I got out for a little steep and deep pow skiing. Drew took us to one of his favorite storm skiing spots, Solstice Tree's. About and hour and half of skinning threw large old growth we started to trend right towards the ridge. Drew said that there was good skiing to be had in both directions but right had slopes that were a little easier to control pre-ski. After topping out on the ridge under warm mid winter sun we packed up and let Pete get ahead for a quick photo opp. We found great fall line skiing threw open glades on the right side of a steep open face then trended left into the avalanche run-out zone. Deep, deep, deep about covers it.
